Technical support for product certification in Central Asia

This project became a serious challenge for me and, at the same time, a major learning experience in the field of technical regulation. Equipment certification for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is a process that demands a simultaneous understanding of two different conformity assessment systems. I accompanied a foreign client in bringing complex measuring and explosion-proof equipment to the Central Asian markets, and the work took a considerable amount of time. However, it was precisely this project that allowed me to thoroughly grasp the nuances of certification — nuances that simply cannot be mastered through theory alone.

The key difficulty lay in clearly distinguishing the requirements: for Kazakhstan — working within the framework of the EAEU Technical Regulations (TR CU 012/2011, 020/2011); for Uzbekistan — navigating the local national conformity assessment system. I managed to establish effective cooperation with accredited testing laboratories and certification bodies in both countries, promptly resolving any technical issues that arose at every stage.

A separate layer of work involved the adaptation and professional translation of technical documentation to meet the requirements of local regulators. In addition, I fully coordinated the project — from agreeing on test programs to the final issuance of permitting documents. This comprehensive approach enabled the client to enter new markets without bureaucratic delays or unnecessary administrative overhead.
